Each spring hummingbirds return to Christina Lake BC from their wintering grounds in Mexico and the Caribbean. It’s an epic journey of thousands of miles, then the world’s smallest birds spend a brief time mating and feeding before returning to the warm climate south. I love watching them and although they are small and appear somewhat fragile, they are actually quite aggressive, at least to other hummingbirds.
